A well-working health and safety management yields various benefits for companies: sick-leave is reduced, danger awareness and awareness of unnecessary risks is heightened and the overall employee happiness is increased.
ready4health – a research project initiated by the FH Burgenland’s Department Health in cooperation with the AUVA (a large Austrian accident insurance body) offers companies a free comprehensive analysis of existing health and safety measures including a recommendation for improvements.
At the beginning of the analysis a designated team agrees on the steps required and the prerequisites for a survey. Next, the significance of organizational health and safety management is gauged by means of an online or paper & pencil questionnaire. A minimum of ten to twenty percent of all returned questionnaires form the basis on which a comprehensive report and recommendation can be generated for the company. This report also shows potential points of departure for positive adjustments.
Several companies that asked for diagnosis of their health and safety status quo followed up by ordering an evaluation regarding psychological strain related to the work place through the FH Burgenland. Perisutti, the Red Cross, Saint Gobain and the Advent Mission are among those companies.
