The main purpose of the project is to design a course about the methods of tourist attractions in reference to our European Cultural Heritage. The international project partners will design the course didactic, contents and ECTS accreditation skills. The course will be prepared in two levels for Bachelor and Master studies.
Each partner will focus on specific categories of European Cultural Heritage, like architecture, local traditions, religious attractions or fine art. The University of Applied Science Burgenland will contribute input especially about European Cultural Heritage connected with music to the Syllabus, the E-Text Book and the Guidelines for Professionals in the Industry. This complex and detailed didactic material (syllabus, content and methodology of the course, textbook, examples of good practice and case studies) will be prepared within three years of project duration.
Introduction and implementation of the course will not only contribute to mobility, it will also support internationalization of lectures and improve the quality of preparation of tourism graduates. The new course will enrich the portfolio of subjects and courses offered at each university.
Duration: 09/2017 - 08/2020
